Sunday

Worship

At the core of our Christian faith is the gathering of the body of Christ in worship.  It is our hope that worshiping together will be a way in which our faith is deepened and our connections to one another are strengthened.

Worship Time

Sunday Mornings at 10am

You are invited to join us on-site in our sanctuary and/or online via our YouTube channel.

Worship Experience

Our worship services typically follow a historical four-part pattern:

Gather:

Following pre-service music, welcome and announcements, and a prelude, each service opens with confession and forgiveness, thanksgiving for baptism, or another type of call to worship followed by the opening hymn and other music. This portion of the service concludes with the Prayer of the Day.

Word:

The word of God is heard from readings from both the Old and New Testaments and a sermon by the pastor. This portion also includes the hymn of the day, an affirmation of faith, the prayers of the people, and the sharing of the peace.

Meal:

We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion weekly and all of God’s people are invited to the table. Here at Trinity, all come forward and are given a piece of bread to be dipped into the divided chalice that contains both red wine and white grape juice. Gluten free bread is also available.

Sending:

Our worship service concludes with a blessing from God and a sending hymn as we are sent in mission to the world.

There are many opportunities for you to serve in the worship service through our many worship servant roles which include ushers, assisting ministers, readers, communion assistants, media technicians, worship coordinators, altar guild, and fellowship hosts.

Children & Youth in Worship

Here, we strive to be a worshipping community where every person is valued as a beloved Child of God. All are invited to experience the grace, love and joy of God’s presence in this place. We explicitly welcome the presence and sound of children and youth as a reminder that God’s love is all, no matter where we are on our faith journey.
There is a children’s sermon near the beginning of the service. We also have a weekly staffed nursery for 0-3 year olds and Sunday School for 3+ September – May.
